Vilnius University (VU) choirs “Gaudeamus”, “Virgo” and “Pro Musica” (Artistic Director Rasa Gelgotienė), together with the Vilnius City Ensemble NIKO, are proud to present the musical piece “Songs from Liquid Days” by the genius of minimalism, Philip Glass in his premiere Lithuanian performance. The concert will take place on Monday 23 of October at 19.30 at the Church of Sts. Johns’. 

Vilnius University (VU) Culture Centre invites international students and community of the university to participate in an Open Stage Storytelling Night! Come on 10th of October, at 7 PM to Aula Parva Cafe, I floor (entrance through the Great Courtyard), where you will be able not only listen, but also tell stories in the theme of The Road Less Travelled! The hostess of the evening is VU Culture Centre Storyteller Milda Varnauskaitė.

Vilnius University Culture Centre unites 15 art groups - choirs, orchestras, theaters, dance groups and ensembles.

The main aim of the Centre is to offer services to the community of the University, i.e. to create and maintain its cultural educational spread and provide the opportunity of artistic self-expression and development of a creative personality for university students, employees and graduates.

The audience of AITA/IATA International Amateur Theater Festival in Debrecen were captivated by Vilnius University (VU) Drama Theatre's performance "Hour 00" (dir. Felicija Feiferė). One of the curators of the AITA/IATA International Amateur Theater Festival in Debrecen, president of the Hungarian Federation of Amateur Theaters & Players János Regős has shared his reflections on the performance: 

On 19-25th June Vilnius University Drama Theatre group participated in AITA International Amateur Theatre Festival held in Debrecen, Hungary. Throughout the week, the team saw performances from all over the world (Finland, Japan, France, Czech Republic, Portugal, Poland, The Netherlands, Sri Lanka, Georgia, Slovakia, and Singapore), participated in theatre workshops, and presented their play “Hour 00” (dir. Felicija Feiferė) on June 23rd and 24th at the Csokonai Forum Theatre in Debrecen.

Vilnius University (VU) Culture Centre, together with VU Improv Theatre, which successfully finishes its second season, invites University community and all improvisation fans to the impro sport event – "Impro Ring". The event will be held on 22nd of June, at 7 PM in VU Theatre Hall (Universiteto g. 3).

The dance performance “Starting Point” is the culmination of the joint Lithuanian and Ukrainian theater educational project. The performance born in the process of the creative workshop, which was conducted by Lithuanian and Ukrainian theater stage professionals, will take place on 16 June at 7:00 p.m. in the Vilnius University Theater Hall. “Starting Point” is a story about the importance of individual stories, the experiences of each person and the turning points in the face of war.

Vilnius university Folklore ensemble RATILIO is turning 55! Let’s enjoy the togetherness with members of different generations of the legendary folk ensemble and set out on a journey down its history, as well as take in the unique spirit of every ethnographic region through all of our senses.

Vilnius University Chamber Orchestra in collaboration with Vilnius City Hall invites you to a chamber music concert "For Ukraine". The concert will be held on the 25th of October, at 7PM in Vilnius City Hall, Didžioji g. 31, Vilnius.
