Last weekend, the “Vilnius–Paris” concert series brought together choirs and orchestras from Sorbonne University and Vilnius University — creating a meaningful cultural exchange between Lithuania and France.

Reflecting on the Lithuanian Season in France 2024, Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to France Arnoldas Pranckevičius noted: “It strengthened our ties and opened the way for continued cooperation in areas such as the economy and defence. However, culture always comes first — it opens the path, and only then do other areas follow. This is especially true in France.” This is what “Vilnius–Paris” continues — culture as the starting point for long-term international partnerships. Gratitude to everyone who made it possible — performers, partners and audiences. The concert series was organised by Vilnius University Culture Centre, which brings together 16 artistic groups and studios and invites audiences to engage in diverse cultural experiences.
