For the first time Association, LATGA is joining the Culture Night marathon and presenting an impressive event to Vilnius residents and city guests in the Town Hall Square, "LATGA Authors' house, "during which well-known Lithuanian authors of various art fields will share the stage and the attention of the spectators with artists from war-torn Ukraine. The event will be opened by Vilnius University (VU) Wind Orchestra "Oktava".
"With this event, we aim to reveal the diversity of authors' creative work represented by LATGA and spread the message that authors are the most important link in the creation of intellectual content. At the same time, we want to express our support to Ukrainian authors, who currently do not have any possibilities to create and spread creative work in their motherland, so they need the help of all of us", – says Laura Baskeviciene, the director of Association LATGA.
LATGA represents almost six thousand Lithuanian authors of various art fields. This diversity will also be revealed on the stage of LATGA Authors' house. Songs of favorite Lithuanian and Ukrainian musicians will be performed live on the big stage. Representatives of the visual arts of both countries will display their works on screens. After the concert in Vilnius Town Hall, there will be night poetry readings of current Lithuanian and Ukrainian authors. Raminta Naujanyte-Bjelle, the chairperson of LATGA's Board, will host the event.

18.00 Well-known film melodies, jazz, funk, and soul will be performed during the performance of VU Wind Orchestra "Oktava".
19.00 The duo of twin sisters Toma and Irena Butko, "BeTwins" from Ukraine, will perform
20.00 The performance of Free Finga, a favorite artist of the youth, introduced himself as a representative of rap and rhythm, and blues. His music combines coded openness, online slang, and experimental sound architecture. DJ Ighnahz and guitarist Dominykas Morkūnas will assist him during the performance.
21.00 The songs of Vilnius pop band "Biplan" are well known to many Lithuanians, musicians have performed in Ukraine many times, and thousands applauded them in Maidan. Several songs in the Ukrainian language will also be performed during the concert.
22.00 Ukrainian band "Druga Rika" (eng. "Second River") plays Britpop music. Its songs are well known in Ukraine, musicians have been performing since 1996 and have released seven albums. The leader of the band and the main songwriter Valery Charchysin is the director of the Ukrainian Authors' Association UACRR.
23.00 The event's culmination will be the performance of the well-known songwriter and TV presenter Vidas Bareikis, who knows how to force dancing even the laziest people. He will present his latest album, "Fortune," with the hit "Camel" on the LATGA Authors' house stage. The concert will also feature other well-known songs, such as "At the Bottom of the Lake," "Half an Hour," "Look at Me, Mom," and others.
