Artists have created a method for observation practice for each participant via an audioguide that invites us to take the time to learn attentively how to observe and explore objects and the environment. The creative team encourages us to develop the habit of observing and to apply it to our everyday lives.

The project initiated by the Culture Center of Vilnius University together with the creators’ team: the director, scriptwriter Saulė Norkutė, set designer Šarūnė Pečiukonytė and contemporary music composer, sound designer Johanes 'Mo'ong' Santoso Pribadi (Indonesia), - invites us to try out the methodology of observation for one participant. This beginner’s guide in audioguide format (in Lithuanian and English), which stimulates the imagination, teaches attentiveness and creates a unique observer effect, is welcome to try out to all members of the VU community, as well as the city residents and guests from 14 years of age.

How important is a person's ability to observe? According to the creators of the audioguide, observation is not an action, an observation, it is a retreat. Observation as the one of the methods of research cannot be questioned, it just needs to be practiced and after that comes all the necessary answers. The observation of the environment - means seeing the various time directions, processes, prehistorics, living organisms and other elements.

We invite you to become the practitioners of this observation method and take the first steps towards closer and full-fledged observation, to develop this habit, and apply it to our everyday lives. During the session lasting a little more than an hour, you will not only take a walk in a closed area of Vilnius University, located on M. K. Čiurlionio Street, but also become a temporarily invisible to buildings, to passengers or even sidewalk tiles.

Practices will take place in September - October 2021 at Vilnius University M. K. Čiurlionio str. 21/27 courtyard area (outdoor event). Meeting place: Vilnius University, M. K. Čiurlionio str. 21 lobby.
