What would happen if you told your story to a stranger?

Vilnius University Culture Centre and storyteller Milda Varnauskaitė invite you to share stories, listen to stories told live, and meet new people at the VU Storytelling Night! The second gathering of the autumn semester will take place on October 27 at 7 PM at the “Morgas” café in VU Aula Parva.

The event will be hosted by storyteller Milda Varnauskaitė aka @StorytellerMilda.

Since 2018, VU Storytelling Nights have brought together members of the VU community, Vilnius residents and visitors to listen to and share stories. It is the first and, so far, the only regular storytelling night of its kind in Lithuania, open to everyone.

Registration is required for all participants – both listeners and storytellers – so that we know how many chairs and cups of tea to prepare.

The event is free of charge.

The event is organised by the VU Culture Centre, bringing together 16 art collectives and creative studios. Every year, the Centre invites the university community and the public to a variety of cultural experiences across different genres.

📍 Due to renovation works, access to the VU Great Courtyard, K. Sirvydas Courtyard, St John’s Church and the Bell Tower will only be possible from Universiteto St., through the Library Courtyard and M. K. Sarbievijus Courtyard.
