On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Lithuania's membership in the European Union (EU), Vilnius University (VU) opens a photo exhibition "Inspired by Europe", which reveals unique insights into the identity, lifestyle, values, hopes, and dreams of modern Europe from the perspective of students. The exhibition includes 11 works from each country that joined Europe in 2004 and Ukraine. We invite you to visit!

20 years ago, 8 countries from Eastern, and Central Europe joined the European Union (EU) together with Malta and Cyprus. Then it was a dream of freedom and new opportunities, but today it is already a reality. Even if we follow our unique paths in different EU countries, we are still guided by unified European values. We can choose to stick to tradition or reach for new horizons. We have a choice. We have the freedom to choose.

The exhibition "Inspired by Europe" will be exhibited from May 2-26 in the Rectorate Corridor Gallery of the VU Old Campus, Universiteto St. 3.
